Washing Machine Won’t Spin
The Precision team often gets service requests for Bosch repair in Brooklyn and Tribeca where the homeowner tells us that their washing machine won’t spin.
A washing machine that does not spin means the laundry comes out pretty clean, but soaking wet.
Question – Can’t I just throw it in the dryer a time or two and all is well in the world?
(Concise but loving answer) – No
A washing machine that doesn’t spin may be solved easily by:
- Step 1 – Re-balancing / re-distributing the laundry (Top Load Washer)
- Step 1.A – If your are washing bulky items like towels or a blanket – be sure to have the settings adjusted correctly. (most modern front load washing machines will have a bulky / heavy item setting)
- Step 2- Reset the appliance control and try again.

Washing Machine Won’t Drain
A LG front load washer that is not draining is common – but it’s actually common across every brand of laundry home appliances.
